Recycle Bicycle Opens Up New Location

Looking to get rid of your old bike? Recycle Bicycle has moved locations, opening up their new location on Chestnut Street in Harrisburg.

They take in unwanted and abandoned bicycles, doctoring them up free of charge and giving them out to community members in need.

They also have community volunteers that teach safety and maintenance.

“We have guys starting out in life again, some coming out of halfway houses. And they can get a bicycle get to work and it will cost them nothing. And they maintain it because we have all the free parts behind us,” says Chief Mechanical Officer Ross Willard.

If you have a bike to donate, they recommend you hold off until spring when their renovations are complete.
